The Makalu Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal’s most remote and spectacular trekking adventures, nestled in the heart of the Makalu-Barun National Park, this trek takes you deep into the eastern Himalayas, offering jaw-dropping views of Mount Makalu (8,485 m)—the fifth highest mountain in the world & fourth highest mountain in Nepal. Known for its pristine wilderness, diverse ecosystems, and rich cultural heritage, this trek is ideal for experienced trekkers seeking solitude and authentic adventure away from the crowds. A thrilling mountain flight with the views of the Himalayan region, passing through the dense forest alpine meadows and heigh mountain passes and experiencing unique culture of Rai, Limbu and Sherpa. This area is also home of rare species of animals and birds.

Day 01: arrive in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly to Tumlingtar and drive to Num.
Day 04: Trek to Seduwa.
Day 05: Trek to Tashigaun, Enter Makalu-Barun National Park.
Day 06: Trek to acclimatization day at Tashigaun.
Day 08: Trek to Khongma Danda.
Day 09: Cross Shipton La Pass to Dobato.
Day 10: Trek to Yangle Kharka.
Day 11: Trek to Langmale Kharka.
Day 12: Trek to Makalu Base Camp.
Day 13: Explore Makalu Base Camp – Optional day hike for panoramic views.
Day 14: Trek to Yangle Kharka.
Day 15: Trek to Dobato.
Day 16: Trek to Khongma Danda.
Day 17: Trek to Seduwa.
Day 18: Trek to Num.
Day 19: Drive to Tumlingtar
Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu transfer to hotel.
